MY STORY

Sarah Rahall-Lunsford has more than 20 years of experience helping businesses grow through a pragmatic, consensus-building approach to business development and marketing.

 

She served as Director of Sales and Marketing for an international home furnishings manufacturer and national Senior Vice President of Business Development for a $450M ENR Top 15 Transportation firm. She created and improved business development processes, leading a successful capture planning program that achieved a win rate above 50% and generated $1.5B in new contracts over the past decade.

Sarah led a 20-person business development coordinator team, overseeing training and process development. She also helped create and lead a national mergers & acquisitions strategy, including process development, reporting, communication, target research, and strategic intent development and presentation.

 

She has a master’s degree in organizational communication and public speaking from Pepperdine University, which she received through a full assistantship in exchange for her leadership of the Pepperdine Speech Laboratory. She also led the Butler University Speaker’s Lab, where she received a bachelor’s degree in communication with a minor in journalism.
